Ambassador of Denmark, H.E.Mr.Ole Moesby visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) and discussed the broad range of Pakistan-Denmark relations including bilateral trade, investment and development assistance.

The Ambassador underlined the importance of exploring ways and means to further expand and diversify the mutually beneficial relations particularly enhancing trade and investment.

The Ambassador said that Pakistan has enormous natural resources and having a lot of economic potential in various sectors, thus, there was good space for increasing bilateral trade between Pakistan and Denmark. In his welcome address, Yassar Sakhi Butt, President ICCI said that there is a greater need to accelerate mutual interactions at all levels in order to translate the existing friendly relationship into boosting trade and investment. ICCI President was of the view that the best way for both countries to promote trade and economic relations is to facilitate the enhanced exchange of trade delegations so that entrepreneurs of Pakistan and Denmark could interact with each other, explore new areas of mutual cooperation, find possibilities of establishing joint ventures and expand trade & investment.

Yassar Sakhi Butt invited Danish investors to explore Pakistan for making investment and earn lucrative profits. He further said that Denmark can also help Pakistan in energy sector which offers very profitable prospects for Danish investors.
