CDA urged to build multistory parking in all markets of Federal Capital-Zafar Bakhtawari October 18, 2012

Mr.Ejaz Abbasi, President, Traders Welfare Association of Jinnah Super Market hosted a lunch in honour of Mr.Zafar Bakhtawari on his appointment as President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI).
 
Mr.Zafar Bakhtawari, President ICCI thanked business community of Jinnah Super Market for giving him a warm reception and said that ICCI always promoted the interests of all traders and industrialists without any discrimination.
 
He said that these interactions provide us opportunity to discuss problems being faced by the traders of different sectors and highlight the same at relevant forums for resolving them.
 
President ICCI said that balanced rent control act should be implemented in Islamabad, adding that a campaign would also be launched in this regard. He assured business community of Jinnah Super Market that rule of paid parking would only be implemented in Jinnah Super after consultation among ICCI, CDA and market office bearers. He urged the Chairman CDA to build multistory parking buildings in all markets of Federal capital.
 
Mr.Ejaz Abbasi congratulated the newly elected President of ICCI and said that business community of Jinnah Super Market has particular association with ICCI and ICCI has always been working for the cause of business community which shows the level of our bilateral close relations.
 
He said that non-existence of a balanced rent law in the federal capital was the main cause of rising rent disputes between tenants and landlords and this situation was also affecting business activities. He said that with the efforts of ICCI, document of a balanced rent control act has reached the parliament and expressed hope that it would soon be made into a law. 
 
Mr.Munawar Mughal, former President ICCI said that the main mandate of the ICCI is to promote the interests of trade and industry and all available resources would be utilized for achieving these objectives.
