Auto workshops should be shifted to I-10 sector-Syed Adil Anis / CDA to develop the G-7, Auto Market-Raja Safeer July 02, 2011
Meeting at ICCI
A delegation of Traders Welfare Association, G-7/1 Auto Market led by its Chairman, Raja Safeer has visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI). Munawar Mughal, Khalid Mehmud Chaudary, Naveed MAlik, Abas Hashmi, Nisar Mira, Aurangzaib and Ch. Aslam were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Syed Adil Anis, Acting President ICCI said that, 15 years ago, Capital Development Authority (CDA) has planned to shift auto and steel workshops outside the city because several problems had been created due to these workshops.

He said that as a result of limited auction, 335 plots have been allotted to I-10/3 and now this auto market was completely functional. CDA did not allocate the remaining plots to other workshops and did not auction them as well, he added.

Acting President ICCI urged the Chairman CDA to shift the workshops to I-10 sector so that existing problems could be solved.

Raja Safeer, Chairman Traders Welfare Association, G-7/1 Auto Market said that their market was located nearest to CDA offices, but CDA never pay attention to their problems.

He requested to Chairman, CDA and Member Engineering to solve the problems of the market and issue notices in this regard.
