Job Title:                                      Women Desk Officer

Duty Station:                                Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Islamabad, Pakistan

Project Reference:                     Engaging with Chamber of Commerce and Industries to promote and advance women entrepreneurship

Duration of Employment:           11-months

No. of Positions:                           2 positions (Female only)

Salary:                                          upto PKR 25000/per month

Organizational Setting:               Direct reporting to Project Coordinator

Project Purpose: The purpose of this project is to engage with Chamber of Commerce and Industry at all tiers and women chambers to encourage and promote women entrepreneurship through strengthening existing women entrepreneurs and enabling skilled women initiate businesses. The grant will promote, encourage and safeguard the businesses of women entrepreneurs and increase the number of women members in the chambers.

Overall job content: 
Women desk Officer will facilitate women willing to establish business and promote women entrepreneurs at the Women desk established at Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry premises.


Specific tasks and responsibilities: 
· To provide information to women seeking to establish business
· To advice women seeking connections and networking with women entrepreneurs
· To disseminate information to achieve economic stability
· To make liaison for job placements for skilled women

Qualifications and skills:

Education:                         MBA/BBA

Experience:                      1-2 Years of experience (Fresh Graduates may also apply)

Required Skills:                Customer Services, front desk handling and communication skills in English and Urdu
