Board of Investment has informed us that a Canadian based company named Eurub Group, which is one of the biggest chemical manufacturer & multinational fumigation company is interested to invest in Pakistan. The company plans to invest either through well-established fumigation company (buyout/joint venture) or acquire a fumigation zone in all or main ports in Pakistan (mainly Karachi, Gwadar and Bin Qasim ports). The company has its own proprietary technologies in the following fumigations:

• Heat treatment
• Carbon Dioxide treatment
• Fumigation through their own proprietary fumigants, or with phosphine, methyl bromide, and Sulfuryl fluoride
