A delegation of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry
(ICCI) led by Muhammad Ahmed Waheed President visited Election Commission
of Pakistan and congratulated Sikandar Sultan Raja on being appointed as Chief
Election Commissioner of Pakistan. Tahir Abbasi Senior Vice President, Saif ur
Rehman Khan Vice President ICCI, Malik Sohail Chairman Coordination SAARC
Chamber of Commerce and Executive Member FPCCI were in the delegation.
Muhammad Ahmed Waheed said that Sikandar Sultan Raja has rendered useful
services at various portfolios including Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Director
General Passports & Immigration and Secretary Petroleum and was optimistic
that he would play his new role in the best interest of the country.
Speaking at the occasion, Sikandar Sultan Raja thanked ICCI delegation for
visiting Election Commission of Pakistan to congratulate him and reaffirmed that
he would discharge his new responsibility in the supreme national interest of
Pakistan.
