A delegation of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) led by its Acting President, Asad Farid visited National Press Club to congratulate Mr.Farooq Faisal for being elected as President. They also congratulated Mr. Shaharyar, General Secretary and other representatives on winning the election.

Mr.Munawar Mughal, Mr.Shahid Zaman Shinwari, Mr.Mahfooz Elahi, Mr.Khalid Chaudary, Mr.Naveed Malik, Mr.Khalid Malik and Mr.saeed Bhatti and other senior members of ICCI were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Asad Farid said that our country has been facing numerous challenges like shortage of electricity and gas alongwith their price hike which were ultimately affecting business activities. He assured cooperation and coordination of ICCI with the National Press Club and stressed that media should play its role to highlight problems of the business community and the citizens of the Federal Capital.

The Chairman of Founder Group, Munawar Mughal expressing his views said that National Press Club always elected honest and dedicated leadership, whereas ICCI also elects representatives through a democratic process to protect and safeguard the interests of the business community.

The President of the National Press Club, Farooq Faisal thanked ICCI for congratulating him and his team and said that journalist community would keep on identifying problems of business community.

He said that from the platform of Joint Action committee, journalist community in collaboration with representatives of different unions and associations would highlight various problems of business community and citizens. He assured cooperation of National Press Club to ICCI in taking care of their problems.
