The United Business Group will sweep the forthcoming elections of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) and will serve the cause of business community of the country more effectively, observed Mr. Abdul Rauf Alam, former President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry,  Chairman Founder Group and Honorary Council General of Comoros. He was addressing a dinner reception hosted in honor of the representatives of Chambers of Commerce and Trade Associations of the country. 
 

A large number of business leaders from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Multan, Vehari, Haripur, Peshawar, Chaman, Kohat and Mirpur Azad Kashmir Chambers of Commerce & Industry as well as Trade Associations from all over Pakistan and Women Chambers attended the event. 
 

Mr. Abdul Rauf Alam said the United Business Group has the support of Chambers of Commerce and Trade Associations of the country, which shows that the business community of the country has full faith in its leadership to better protect and promote their business interests. 
 

He said the United Business Group has been formed under the leadership of great business leaders of Pakistan Mr. S.M. Muneer Patron-in-Chief and Mr. Iftikhar Ali Malik Chairman who have rendered great services for the business community of the country and we believe they will pick up sound business leaders democratically to lead the FPCCI in a professional manner. 
 

He said they have nominated Mian Muhammad Idrees through a democratic process as the proposed President of the United Business Group for the coming elections of FPCCI to transform the Federation into a more vibrant and effective apex trade body. 
 

He called upon the business community of the country to get united for protection of their rights and lend full support to Mian Muhammad Idrees in the next elections of FPCCI as he has the capability and experience to turn the FPCCI into a dynamic business body to work for the betterment of business community of the country.
