CBI study on E-business in the tourism industry

  • December 24, 2019
In May 2007 CBI published an exploratory study on the use of e-business in the tourism industry. One of the main conclusions was that more than half of the EU professionals interviewed use the Internet to identify DC tourism suppliers and this is expected to only increase in the long term.

Moreover, online booking is increasing very fast in the EU. Having a Computer Reservation System is very important. However, EU buyers do not always trust these applications, so DC tourism service providers should build in a visible back-up system to ensure all bookings come through.

This eGuide serves as a follow-up to these and other conclusions, to inform you of the latest developments and to give you practical tips on how you can profit from them.
