CDA Chairman assures to resolve problems of business community

A delegation of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) led by Mr.Abdul Rauf, Chairman, Capital Development Authority (CDA) Sub-Committee and former President of ICCI visited Chairman, CDA, Engr. Farkhand Iqbal.
 
Addressing the meeting, Engr. Farkhand Iqbal said that CDA, in consultation with ICCI, would resolve business community problems to facilitate them in promotion of business activities as growth of business would ultimately make Islamabad a dynamic and vibrant city.
 
He said that CDA has planned to produce electricity from bio-energy resources that would help resolve in the problem of electricity outages. He said that water supply project from Tarbella dam would be initiated soon with the cooperation of a Chinese company which ensures smooth and regular water supply to residents of the federal capital.
 
Abdul Rauf, Chairman, CDA Sub-Committee and former President of ICCI said that there was a dire need of support from CDA to boost business activities and development projects should be done on priority basis. He said that a reconciliation committee would be helpful in resolving various disputes.
 
Mr.Munawar Mughal, Chairman Founder Group assured full cooperation of Islamabad Chamber and said that entire business community would support Chairman CDA for making Islamabad a model city.
 
Yassar Sakhi Butt, President ICCI, Asad Farid, Senior vice President, Shahid Zaman Shinwari, Vice President, Mian Akram Farid, Khalid Javaid, Malik Zubair Ahmed, Khalid Iqbal Malik, Zafar Bakhtawari, Khalid Chaudhry, Muzamil Sabari, Ishtiaq Qureshi and Ameen-ur-Rehman were also present on the occasion.
