Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), commended the innovative spirit of young entrepreneurs, highlighting ICCI's commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and a startup culture for the nation's economic prosperity.
Speaking at a ceremony organized by Ameer Hamza Siddique, President of the Young Entrepreneurs Club and ICCI Executive Member, Bakhtawari emphasized the Chamber's efforts to facilitate business operations, boost exports, and attract investments. He pointed out that ICCI acts as a crucial link between the government and the business community to ease the business environment in Pakistan.
Bakhtawari also mentioned ICCI's initiatives to sign Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with various universities to strengthen academia-industry partnerships, aiming to nurture the next generation of successful entrepreneurs.
During the event, Bakhtawari highlighted several key initiatives under his leadership that benefited the business community and residents.
Ameer Hamza Siddique, who hosted the Commonwealth dinner to honor successful young business people and promote youth entrepreneurship, stated that ICCI welcomes young entrepreneurs to seek guidance from seasoned business leaders. This initiative aligns with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif's youth program.
Deputy Secretary PMYP, Dr. Muhammad Malik Ali, also graced the event with his presence and pledged unwavering support for the initiative, recognizing its potential to significantly impact the country's economic development.
The event saw a large turnout of young entrepreneurs who expressed their appreciation for ICCI's proactive role, especially the efforts of President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari.
