ICCI hosts Iftar Dinner for Pakistan Sweet Homes Angels and Fairies

Muhammad Shakeel Munir President, Jamshed Akhtar Sheikh Senior Vice President and Muhammad Faheem Khan Vice President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) hosted an Iftar dinner in honor of the angels and fairies of Pakistan Sweet Homes, which was attended by former Presidents ICCI Khalid Javed & Baser Daud, former Senior Vice Presidents Khalid Chaudhry, Muhammad Naveed Malik & Ms. Fatma Azim, former Vice President Ashfaq Hussain Chatha, ICCI Executive Members and a large number of business community from the twin cities.
Speaking on the occasion, Patron in Chief of Pakistan Sweet Homes Zamrud Khan thanked the Office Bearers of ICCI for hosting a wonderful Iftar dinner in honor of the angels and fairies of Sweet Homes. He said that with the blessings of Allah the Almighty and the cooperation of philanthropists, Pakistan Sweet Homes has been making good progress day by day and at present branches of Pakistan Sweet Homes in 8 major cities of the country are operating to take care of the orphans while its network will be further expanded. He said that with the help of philanthropists, the first cadet college in the history of the world has been set up on an area of ​​80 kanals for orphans on GT Road in Sohawa in which 141 students are currently studying. He said that his aim was to make the children of Pakistan Sweet Homes proud citizens of Pakistan so that they could not only play an active role in the development of Pakistan but also make the country proud of them. He said that due to Covid-19 pandemic, after almost two years, a wonderful event has been organized in Pakistan Sweet Homes for which the credit goes to ICCI. He said that the Chamber has always cooperated with Pakistan Sweet Homes and hoped that this tradition would be maintained in future as well.
Addressing the function, President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Muhammad Shakeel Munir paid tributes to the services of Zamrud Khan, Patron in Chief of Pakistan Sweet Homes, who has dedicated his life for the welfare of orphans. He said that Zamrud Khan was grooming and educating orphans like a father which was commendable. He urged the business community to fully cooperate with Pakistan Sweet Homes so that the institution could further grow and provide better care to the orphans. He thanked the former Presidents, former Senior Vice Presidents, former Vice Presidents, Executive Members ICCI and women entrepreneurs for attending the event and reiterated that ICCI would continue to cooperate with Pakistan Sweet Homes in this noble cause. On this occasion, the participants donated an amount of about Rs.8 million for Pakistan Sweet Homes.
Former Senior Vice President ICCI Muhammad Naveed Malik also paid tributes to Zamrud Khan, Patron in Chief of Pakistan Sweet Homes for providing a better quality of life to orphans and arranging for their good education. He assured that the business community and the Chamber would continue to partner with Pakistan Sweet Homes and would extend all possible cooperation to further this noble mission.
