Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry has always served the cause of small traders and highlighted their issues at all relevant forums, which shows that ICCI is a true and apex representative of all traders.

This was stated by Mahfooz Elahi, President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry while addressing the representatives of different markets. He said that Islamabad Chamber was also playing its active role in policy advocacy and established strong working relations with several government institutions. He said that sub-committees of ICCI were performing their tasks efficiently and solving problems relating to trade and industry.

Speaking on the occasion, Munawar Mughal, Chairman, Founder Group ICCI said that small traders attained 50 percent representation in Executive Committee. He said that ICCI has always tried to establish good working relationship with market unions of Islamabad so that all issues of business community could be solved with combined efforts.       
 
He said traders should get maximum membership of ICCI and strengthen its hands so that it could serve their interests more effectively. He assured them that ICCI will keep highlighting their issues with concerned authorities for urgent remedial measures.
