ICCI to cooperate with PBFI in resolving key issues of traders

Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) said that he will continue to serve the business community with sincerity and enthusiasm to provide them with maximum facilitation in promoting business activities. He said this while addressing the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected Office Bearers of Pakistan Business Forum Islamabad (PBFI). Chaudhry Tahir was elected as President, Raja Imtiaz Abbasi General Secretary, Aziz ur Rehman and Tahir Ayub Senior Vice Presidents, Saeed Khokhar Patron-in-Chief, Zahid Qureshi Chairman, Khalid Abbasi Vice Chairman, Imran Bukhari Chief Organizer and Babar Chaudhry Deputy Secretary General of Islamabad Business Forum.

Ahsan Bakhtavari said that serving the business community is his mission and Allah SWT is providing him with new opportunities for this purpose. He hailed the announcement of Chairman CDA to give representation to ICCI in CDA board and said that it would help in resolving the key issues of the business community and the citizens more effectively. He congratulated the newly elected office bearers of IBF and assured that the Chamber will fully cooperate with them in resolving the issues of traders.

Ch. Muhammad Tahir, President and Raja Imtiaz Abbasi Secretary General Pakistan Business Forum Islamabad said that the positive announcements of Chairman CDA in ICCI have created new hopes in the traders of the Capital. They said that PBFI will closely work with ICCI to solve the important problems of traders and the Chamber will play a leading role in this regard.

Khalid Iqbal Malik, Group Leader ICCI administered oath to the newly elected office bearers of Pakistan Business Forum Islamabad and expressed good wishes for them. He said that under the leadership of Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, ICCI is taking revolutionary steps for the betterment of the business community and assured that the Chamber will also fully cooperate with PBFI for the welfare of trading community.

Zafar Bakhtawari, Former President ICCI & Secretary General UBG said that the Chairman CDA has announced important decisions during visit to ICCI, which has increased the goodwill of the current government among the business community. He said that ICCI is working on many important projects for the welfare of the business community, including the construction of an Expo Centre in Islamabad, the establishment of a business school, college and university to provide quality education to the children of businessmen, eestablishment of a hospital to provide better treatment facilities and acquisition of a ground to promote sports activities. He said that the inclusion of President ICCI in the CDA Board will lead to positive progress for the completion of these projects as the CDA has announced to provide land to ICCI for these projects while the Chamber will complete these projects with its own financial resources.

Asif Luqman Qazi, leader of Jamaat-e-Islami said that the Pakistan Business Forum would contribute to strengthen business linkages among Islamic countries and improve trade between them.
