A delegation of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry led by its President Muzzamil Hussain Sabri visited I-8 Markaz, Islamabad and congratulated the newly elected office bearers of Traders Welfare Association of the market. Mr. Muhammad Shakeel Munir Senior Vice President ICCI, Khalid Chaudhry Secretary Information Traders Action Committee & former Senior Vice President ICCI, Tausif Zaman, Sheikh Shaukat, Saeed Ahmed Bhatti, Mehmood Warraich, Naveed Malik, Ch. Irfan and others were in the delegation.
Addressing the traders, Muzzamil Hussain Sabri, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry said that I-8 Markaz traders have elected their Association in a true democratic manner, which is good for their community and hoped that the elected representatives will work for the welfare of all traders without any discrimination. He said resolving business community’s problems is on the top priority of ICCI and stressed that I-8 Market Association should join hands with ICCI for redress of its key issues. He also called upon the Chairman and Member Administration CDA to focus on development works in market to bring the infrastructure at par with developed cities.
Khalid Chaudhry, Secretary Information, Traders Action Committee and former Senior Vice President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry also congratulated the newly elected President and office bearers of I-8 Markaz. He said the united stand of local business community against the police brutality on Ajmal Baloch, President, All Pakistan Ajmanun-e-Tijaran was exemplary and vowed that the businessmen would maintain unity in the ranks in future as well for protection of their rights. He assured the Association of I-8 Markaz of his full cooperation in its efforts.
Speaking at the occasion, Raja Fiaz, President, Traders Welfare Association, I-8 Markaz thanked the ICCI delegation for its support and said that his Association will work in close collaboration with ICCI for serving the cause of market traders. He stressed that all Market Associations should strengthen the hands of ICCI for better solution of traders problems.
