ISLAMABAD: Zafar Bakhtawari, Former Vice President FPCCI and Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari Former Vice President ICCI hosted a breakfast in honor of S.M. Munir, former President FPCCI and Patron-in-Chief of United Business Group (UBG) at their residence. Muhammad Ahmed Waheed President, Tahir Abbasi Senior Vice President, Saif ur Rehman Khan Vice President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdul Rauf Alam Former President FPCCI and Chairman UBG Federal Area, Mian Akram Farid, Chairman Founder Group, Zubair A. Tufail Former President FPCCI, Sheikh Khalid Tawab Former Senior Vice President FPCCI, Zahid Chaudhry and Sheikh Nadeem Vice Presidents FPCCI, Malik Sohail Hussain Chief Coordinator UBG FPCCI, Tariq Sadiq, Khalid Javed, Muhammad Ejaz Abbasi, Sheikh Abdul Waheed, Khalid Iqbal Malik, Mian Shaukat Masood, Chaudhry Waheed ud Din, Zahid Maqbool, Sheikh Amir Waheed, Karim Aziz Malik, Former President Chakwal Chamber Qazi Akbar, Rawalpindi Chamber Group Leader Sohail Altaf, RCCI former President Dr. Hasan Sarosh, Vice President Muhammad Hamza Sarosh, Mahmood Ahmed Waraich, Khalid Chaudhry, Ashfaq Chatha, Chaudhry Masood and others were present at the occasion.

Speaking at the occasion, S.M. Munir, Patron-in-Chief UBG said that the Covid-19 pandemic has badly affected the economy of Pakistan, but expressed the hope that things would improve soon. He said that in the current economic crisis, the business community should remain united for resolution of their problems.

Expressing his views, Muhammad Ahmad Waheed, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that S.M. Munir, Patron-in-Chief UBG has rendered invaluable services to the business community of the country which were laudable. He said that the business community of the Federal Capital is with UBG under the leadership of Abdul Rauf Alam Chairman UBG Federal Area. Zafar Bakhtawari, Former Vice-President FPCCI said that in the last election of the federation, group leader S.M. Munir was in ailing condition due to which the election campaign could not be run effectively. He thanked all the business leaders for coming to his house to participate in the breakfast.

Former President FPCCI and Chairman UBG Federal Area Abdul Rauf Alam, Former President FPCCI Zubair A. Tufail, Former Senior Vice President FPCCI Sheikh Khalid Tawab and Chairman Founder Group Mian Akram Farid also expressed their views on the occasion while Former Vice President ICCI Ahsan Bakhtawari hosted the meeting.
