The Chairman Islamabad United Group (IUG), Faisal Muzamal Khokhar along with his colleagues including Syed Talib Hussain Hashmi, Malik Tariq Javed, Mohammad Azhar, Malik Nadeem Kakazai, Haji Abdul Rahman Mohmand, Wajid ur Rahman Mohmand, Ahmed Tareen, Sher Mohammad Khan, Chaudhry Ansar Farooq, Chaudhry Rashid Muzamal, Sheikh Faisal and Iftikhar Ahmed Kayani announced to merge into the Founder Group unconditionally during a ceremony.

Addressing the ceremony, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari congratulated IUG Chairman Faisal Muzamal Khokhar and his team for joining the Founder Group unconditionally and said that they have taken a wise decision as the interests of the business community can be better protected through unity rather than division. He said that serving the business community and solving their problems is one of our priorities. This is possible only when there is unity and consensus among the business community of Islamabad. He said that today's development is an important step towards this goal. He hoped that inclusion of IUG into the Founder Group would make ICCI even stronger.

Faisal Muzmal Khokhar, in his address, said that in view of the better performance of the Founder Group, he along with his colleagues decided to join them unconditionally to work unitedly for the welfare of the business community. He said that the love of the Founder Group members including Khalid Iqbal Malik, Khalid Javed, Zafar Bakhtawari and others has motivated them to join them. He said that in the current economic situation, the business community is facing great problems and division in them is not in their interest. He said that our aim of joining the Founder Group is to further strengthen ICCI so that it can serve the cause of the business community more effectively. He expressed confidence in the leadership of Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari and vowed that they would further strengthen his hands. He hoped that their inclusion in the Founder Group would prove to be a good move for traders and and industrialists.

Khalid Iqbal Malik Chairman Founder Group welcomed them into his Group. He said that 25 years ago, ICCI started its journey within a single rented room and today it has its own 2 multi-story buildings, which shows the progress and growth of the Chamber under the Founder Group. ICCI has set up a modern auditorium and no other Chamber in Pakistan has such a good facility.

Zafar Bakhtavari, former President ICCI, said that Faisal Muzamal is a shining star of the business community of Islamabad and their inclusion into the Founder Group is a laudable development. He said that unity in the business community is very important to get their issues resolved. He said that ICCI a couple of days back organized a business role model award ceremony with Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf as chief guest and its aim was to promote the dignity of the business community and highlight their importance in the society. He said that merging of the IUG into the Founder Group will further strengthen the unity of Islamabad's business community and promote their interests more effectively.

Faad Waheed Senior Vice President, Engr. Azhar ul Islam Zafar Vice President ICCI, Khalid Javed, Mian Shaukat Masud, Muhammad Ejaz Abbasi, Sai fur Rehman Khan, Faseeh Ullah Khan, Zahid Qureshi and others were also present at the occasion.
