Asif Ali Zardari assures business community to resolve their problems

Private sector could achieve set milestone of economic development but business community is facing huge economic challenges because of multiple factors like energy crisis and many other core issues due to which the economy is badly suffering while trade and industry are struggling for survival.

It was stated by Mr.Zafar Bakhtawari, President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry during an official visit to the Republic of Korea with Mr.Asif Ali Zardari, President of Pakistan.
 
ICCI President informed the President of Pakistan that representation of traders in the CDA Board of Directors (BOD) as well as BOD of Islamabad Club is essential that help in creating a bridge between the citizens and the local administration to understand the rapidly increasing problems of the city and giving their input in the policy making and decision-making process of mega projects.
 
Mr.Asif Ali Zardari assured ICCI for its representation in the CDA board of directors to serve the cause of business community, adding that close liaison with business community is vital for reducing communication gap between private and public sectors which would give a boost to business and industrial activities.
 
President Asif Ali Zardari along with 24 member delegation comprising of Ch.Shujahat Hussain, Mr.Amin Fahim, Ch.Ahmed Mukhtar, Malik Ammad Khan and others attended the luncheon meeting given by H.E.Mr.Lee Myung Bak, President of the Republic of Korea. 
 
The two Presidents hold a summit meeting and discussed measures to further strengthen bilateral relations and share views on regional and international issues of mutual interest. Mr.Zardari also encouraged North Korean business leaders to visit and invest in all sector of Pakistan which offered lucrative opportunities to all local as well as foreign investors.
