President ICCI urged Allama Tahirul Qadari to call off the long march on 14th January in Islamabad as it could create immense problems for business community and other citizens of Federal Capital.
He said that Islamabad is a city of 0.7million people while long march by 4milllion people as stated by Tehrik-e- Minhaj ul Quran chief would definitely damage the infrastructure of Islamabad as well as deteriorate the law and order situation in the Federal Capital.
Mr.Bakhtawari was of the view that Islamabad is a very peaceful, clean and a model city, therefore, Allama Tahirul Qadari should withdraw his long march call in the national interest of Pakistan.
He said that problems of sewerage and sanitary could also be elevated due to this long march as well as there is also danger of damage to public and private property.
President ICCI said that Federal Capital is fully equipped with modern facilities and a large number of diplomatic community is present here, thus, any long march would portray a negative image of our country. He appeal to Allama Tahirul Qadari to call off this long march or shift it to any other city as Capital is the face of our country which could not be damage due to such actions.
