Business community thanks Federal Cabinet for approving Islamabad rent restriction (Amendment) Bill 2010-Syed Adil Anis

Syed Adil Anis Vice President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that business community of Islamabad thanked the Federal Cabinet  for approving Islamabad Rent Restriction (Amendment) Bill 2010, for which the business community has been doing great efforts for a long time. He specially thanked Dr.Baber Awan Federal Minister for Law & Justice & Parliamentary Affairs for fulfilling his promise that was made during an address to the business community at Community Center Aabpara Islamabad.

He said that the businessmen are not protected and are being forced to vacate shops without any concrete reason and urged that this practice must be stopped till promulgation of the Islamabad Rent Restriction (Amendment) Bill 2010 by National Assembly and pending cases should be reheard under the new law.

Syed Adil Anis lauded that Government is now focusing to address trader’s problems and he hoped that after passing of the bill by the National Assembly, it will be implemented by the current government as well. He appeal to Tariq Pirzada, Chief Commissioner Islamabad and Aamer Ahmad Ali, Deputy Commissioner to issue a notification to stop further evacuation of traders from their business till promulgation of the Islamabad Rent Restriction (Amendment) bill 2010 by National Assembly.
