Mr.Zahid Maqbool, President, Mr.Karim Aziz Malik, Vice President and members of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) visited the site of plane crash today and contributed their share in the ongoing rescue work.

Mr.Zahid Maqbool lauded the efforts of CDA, Army, Police, local administration and the media for contributing positively in the rescue work. He also appreciated the role of volunteers who played key role in rescuing the dead bodies from the debris.

He said people have once again proved that the whole nation is united in the need of hour irrespective of any political or other affiliation.

The businessman condoled with the bereaved families and said that the whole nation is with them in their hour of grief and sorrow.

They said ICCI had rendered useful services to the affectees of Earthquake 2005 and the Chamber is again ready to play its positive role in mitigating the sorrows of bereaved families.

They prayed that Allah Almighty may keep the departed souls in eternal peace and give the courage and fortitude to bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.
