ICCI delegation on visit to Turkey, Romania and Czech Republic for bolstering bilateral trade relations

A seven-member Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) delegation under the leadership of ICCI President Yassar Sakhi Butt left for a 10-days visit to Turkey, Romania and Czech Republic with an objective to bolster foreign investment and further strengthen bilateral trade relations.

During their stay in Turkey, the ICCI delegation would have meetings with Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, MUSIAD, PASIAD, TUSKON and DEIK. The delegates would also visit Tuyap Fair Convention & Congress Center and Istanbul Fair Center (CNR Expo).

From May 9, Business-to-Business meetings at Chamber of Commerce & Industry Bucharest in Romania, Chamber of Commerce & Industry Prahova and Lasi Chamber of Commerce & Industry after talks with Romanian business leaders are the main features of ICCI delegation visit to Romania.

The ICCI team would also visit different factories besides having briefing at Ministry of Economy & Commerce in Romania. Pakistan’s Ambassador, H.E.Mr. Rab Nawaz Khan would also arrange a business dinner in honor of ICCI delegates.

On May 11, the ICCI delegation would leave for Czech Republic, where it would be meeting with Confederation of Industry and they would be briefed on doing business in Czech Republic. They will also visit to Sport Expo in Prague and also attend a diner hosted by H.E.Aitzaz Ahmed, Ambassador of Pakistan in Czech Republic.

It is expected that this visit will result in opening of the new avenues and opportunities for Pakistan bilateral trade relations with Turkey, Romania and Czech Republic to achieve even higher growth of Pakistan’s exports.
