ICCI highly condemns NATO attack on Pakistan’s check post

 A meeting of Islamabad Industrial Association was held at Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) which was headed by its President, Yassar Sakhi Butt. Mr. Munawar Mughal, Chairman Founder Group ICCI, former Presidents ICCI and other business leaders were also present on the occasion.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Yassar Sakhi Butt, President ICCI has condemned the NATO attack on a Pakistani check post and deeply grieved over the killings of Pak Army personnel and said that this attack is completely unacceptable. 
 
ICCI President said that business community would stage a rally against this attack by urging the Government to give response in an appropriate manner in future. He said that we need to be united for this national cause, adding that, the blood of the soldiers martyred in the attack by NATO forces would not go in vain. 
 
Mr. Munawar Mughal, Chairman Founder Group ICCI said that business community would protest against this attack in front of US embassy. Industrialists and traders would participate in the rally by holding banners and placards against the barbaric attack of NATO, he added.  
 
He said that the rally would be non-political in which civil society and business community paid tribute to the martyred, sympathy with the bereaved families and solidarity with the Pakistani armed forces.
 
Former Presidents Mian Akram Farid and Mr. Khalid Javaid also condemned the NATO attack on Pakistan forces which claimed lives of 24 soldiers and termed it against the country’s sovereignty.
