ICCI strongly condemns terrorist attack on school in Peshawar

Muhammad Shakeel Munir, Acting President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry has strongly condemned the terrorists attack at an army-run school in Peshawar in which more than 131 people including 100 children have lost their precious lives and termed it a very cruel act against the humanity. He said the whole nation including business community of the country feels deeply shocked and aggrieved over this dastardly act and fully stands with the bereaved families in this critical hour. 
 
He said this ghastly act of killing innocent children and teachers indicates that the militants are not only enemies of Pakistan, but the enemies of whole humanity. 
 
Shakeel Munir said by committing such cowardice acts, the terrorist could not weaken the resolve of the nation to get rid of the menace of terrorism. He said the whole business community extends its full support to the armed forces and the security agencies to eliminate terrorists from the country. He said the business community will observe three days mourning. 
 
He said this tragic incident demands that all political leaders should forget their differences and get united to make concerted efforts for making Pakistan terrorism-free country. He said a high level delegation of ICCI will visit Peshawar to condole with the bereaved families. He appreciated the initiative of Prime Minister of Pakistan and Chief of Army Staff to cancel all their scheduled programs and reach Peshawar in this hour of need. It shows that the government as well as the army are on same page and are determined to rid the country of the curse of terrorism.
