Nasir Mansoor Qureshi, President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry has commended the recent visit of a high-level Saudi delegation to Pakistan as a significant milestone in the bilateral relations between the two nations. Led by Minister of Investment Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, the delegation’s visit is expected to result in bilateral agreements worth $2 billion.
Talking to different delegations at ICCI, he by terming it a testament to the strong relationship between the two brotherly nations said that this development underscores the growing ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Qureshi emphasized the importance of political stability for economic stability, noting that Pakistan is gaining stability, which is a good omen for future progress. This positive trajectory has sparked interest from friendly countries in investments and joint ventures, paving the way for economic betterment.
To foster economic growth, he stressed the need to remove bureaucratic hurdles for ease of doing business by advocating facilities and resources to support businesses rather than relying on intimidation, harassment, and burdensome taxes on existing taxpayers.
Nasir Mansoor Qureshi said that as President of ICCI, he is committed to carrying forward the legacy of creating business opportunities. The ICCI has been working to explore new business avenues for its members and attract foreign investments by showcasing Pakistan’s tourism potential, he concluded.
